WG1 and WG2 were apparently earmarked for T1 Village of Hommlet and its planned sequel, Temple of Elemental Evil (thanks to Ian Malcomson for this info). WG3 was originally to be assigned to Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, but that module ended up with code S4. WG4 Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun is the sequel (loosely tied) to that module."

IIRC, the 1983 World of Greyhawk Boxed Set lists Tsojcanth as WG3. There's an earlier TSR catalog that lists S4 as Dwellers of the Forbbiden City.
Zenopus Archiveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14069501995927451558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9034454877966866286.post-55165946165767419852013-03-21T03:30:05.703-05:002013-03-21T03:30:05.703-05:00Oddly I wonder why Gygax didn't push for an ac...Oddly I wonder why Gygax didn't push for an actual Castle Greyhawk back then if he was going to borrow from it anyways?Mike Bridgeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17741591268012556455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9034454877966866286.post-43978684405972153872013-03-20T20:47:49.170-05:002013-03-20T20:47:49.170-05:00True, but S3 was based in part on materials from T...True, but S3 was based in part on materials from The Machine Level and Garden of the Plantmaster in Castle Greyhawk, so it, too, was firmly rooted in the campaign....

Allan.grodoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11800184312511280050noreply@blogger.com
