Welcome back Greyhawkians! When last we saw the Cultists of Tharizdun, Markessa was guiding them through the streets of the Slave Lords city, Suderham. The doomed duo has breezed through the Slave Pits of the Under City, the Secret of the Slavers Stoackade and so far are on their way to bypassing the Assault on the Aerie of the Slave Lords without a hitch. Let's check in, er, looks like we aren't the only ones following the Cultist's progress. What could go wrong? Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #51
Greetings Greyhawk pilgrims! The Cultists of Tharizdun continue their quest, alongside a certain woman named Markessa. As the classic story unfolds, they have progressed from A2 right into the A3 module. I have never run the original Slave Lords series but having meticulously parodied them, I now wonder how these even are enjoyable in convention play. There is no time to enjoy and explore this seedy world. What players need is a guide. to show them the interesting bits they'd miss otherwise. That's where the doomed duo is at today, let's follow along. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #50
Well folks we made it to issue #50 of Cultists of Tharizdun. This of course is not the first iteration of Cultists. I did a Greyhawk Comic from 2005 to 2010. Following that the Cultists have appeared in many issues of Oerth Journal here and there. They are insidious like that. What I've done here with the "Classic Remaster" is applied my 21 years of comic crafting knowledge to reworking my original cultist comic, an unassuming strip that appeared in 2007. What was siginificant about that issue was they were the first mortal characters I used in what was a comic strip devoted to Greyhawk deities (like Pelor, Kord, Vecna, etc). The subject of the comic is also obscure, it's the three-part Tharizdun artifact sought out in Gygax's Gord novels. Enough back story, have a look and then we'll be back to our usual Cultist quest next time. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #46
Howdy Greyhawk enthusiasts, it's that time again! When last we saw the Cultists of Tharizdun they left the Slave Pits of the Undercity and went to the remote "Slavers Stockade". First, they tried to surrender to hobgoblins and kobolds but that went awry so now how will they infiltrate the stockade and learn about the cult behind the Slave Lords? Let's find out. Enjoy!
p.s. If the scene below seems absurd, I'll point out it's lifted right from the module!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #45
Welcome back to the next chapter in the ongoing classic "adventure path" of the Cultists of Tharizdun. If you follow the links below you will see so far, they have been through Mordenkainen's Fantastic Adventure in Maure Castle, the Steading of the Hill Giant Chief, fought against the Cult of the Reptile God in Orlane, then explored the Slave Pits of the Undercity below Highport. What's next for the dastardly duo? Check it out and enjoy!
p.s. For those new to the World of Greyhawk setting, map coordinates refer to the 1980-1983 Darlene hex map that had coordinate letters and numbers along the sides. Early Greyhawk modules would have these coordinates in the text so DMs could follow without the players knowing the location. That said, the Cultists are evil, so they do not care about SPOILERS!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #44
Well met Greyfellows! The ongoing adventures of the Cultists of Tharizdun have finally led us to the eponymous classic location they have sought out. Those of you who have also adventured beneath the city of Highport will likely recognize this part. It's been fun for me artistically, let's see if the doomed duo is having as much fun fighting through it. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #43
Welcome in dear Greyhawk readers. When last we saw the Cultists of Tharizdun, they were sneaking their way into the Undercity of Highport looking for a rival cult behind the Slave Lords. Those of you familiar with this classic story will not be surprised by what they find down there. I will admit this is one module I've never ran but played once at a convention. After seeing the Cultists run through it however, I'm not sure I want to ever run it! Speaking of which, let's see how the guys are doing. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #40
Well met heroes of the Flanaess! If you saw previously, after a few setbacks against the charmed citizens of Orlane, the Cultists of Tharizdun finally came face-to-face with the "Reptile God". It seems after several well-placed puns they have come to an understanding. Let's see how things turned out. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #39
Welcome back to the ongoing adventures of the Cultists of Tharizdun. The dismal duo has been locked in a struggle to root out a rival cult in the town of Orlane, only to be drugged, captured, moved to a lair in the Rushmoors, escaped, and captured again. What else could go wrong? Oh right, they could meet the "Reptile God". Let's see how this plays out. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #38
Welcome Greyhawk enthusiasts! If you haven't figured out what classic mod the Cultists of Tharizdun are mired in, then you'll know now. The fun in writing and producing these last few comics is that I was not familiar with the adventure except in reputation; in fact, I never owned the module until recent years. My critique having read through the story is that I need to run this someday for my friends (non-cultists). In the meantime, I'll have to settle with watching the deranged duo tear through more Greyhawk canon. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #37
Welcome again to another wacky installment of the Cultists of Tharizdun. If you're just joining in, the demented duo has been on the trail of a rival cult in the town of Orlane. Some of you may know this humble town from a certain classic module I won't name yet. If you do know about it then you'll be familiar with my favorite part, the attention to detail for the names of liquors and taverns. Speaking of, let's see how the guys are doing with the hospitality in Orlane. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #36
Welcome back to the ongoing adventures of the Cultists of Tharzidun. As you may have seen last episode, the deranged duo has traveled to Orlane to confront a new rival cult. If there is one thing evil cults never do, it's work well with each other. Speaking of obscure religions, if you know the source material of this storyline, you probably heard of Merikka. Merikka is such an obscure Greyhawk deity that I believe this is the first time I've EVER mentioned her in any comic I've done in nearly twenty years. Let's see if it's worth the trouble for the guys. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #35
Welcome back Greyhawkcore fans. With the conclusion of Under, my focus now shifts entirely to the antics of everyone's favorite Cultists of Tharizdun. Last we saw they were searching the Steading of the Hill Giant Chief, but in the intervening time they've moved on. To where? Let's find out. Enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Under #38
Thank you readers! I wasn't going to end my short story Under without one more look at the other denizens (the jermlaine, the myconid and the kuo-toa, plus a villain). If you have not seen the story yet follow the links below to catch up on the entire Underdark tale. I will leave it at that. From here on I will be publishing Cultists of Tharizdun comics until the next short story hits me. Enjoy!
Greyhawkery Comics: Under #37
Welcome back to the conclusion of my short story, Under. It's been quite the ride; the ideas and art flowed with this comic. If time was no object I would love to go into more detail on the character's various secrets and subplots but in order to finish the project in a timely manner, I kept it brief and fast paced. Would I revisit these characters again in some manner? Absolutely. For now, this page and the epilogue is the end of the tale. When last we saw, the deep gnome barely held off the shadow dragon Malythrak giving the elf Vaelindra enough time to plunge her sword (with a well placed continual light spell) into the dragon's eye, thus sending him away fleeing in pain. This gives the adventurers time to heal, loot, and perhaps complete some other unspoken quest? Enjoy!
