D&D Movie: Here We Go Again...

I saw this news item over at the blog Troll Dens. Here is a link to the original article. Apparently Warner Brothers is involved but I'm not sure if that's something to get excited about. Is it too soon for another shot at a D&D feature film or is it high time to ride the wave made by The Hobbit?

Looks like Courtney Solomon is still producing. I'll try and give it the benefit of doubt, but I'm not overly hopeful.

We can only hope for "success," but given the success of LotR, The Hobbit, HBO's Vikings and Game of Thrones, I say go for a major motion picture.

Why not?

I'd like to see an attempt at a D&D tv show, 10-12 episodes per season with a decent budget. A dungeon crawl with a group of characters - Fighter, Thief, Wizard, Cleric, Barbarian, Paladin, Bard... EPIC.

But I don't hold out hope that it'll meet our expectations.
