Greyhawkery Comics: Under #18

Huzzah one and all! Halloween weekend is upon us. Seems a good time for another installment of my short story Under. Check out the links below for the entire tale. When last we saw the denizens they had arrived at the underdark town of Underhold. This part of the story is one long homage to the late Dave Trampier's comic Wormy. Much like Wormy, I am fascinated by a Vault of the Drow-like culture where creatures that are normally considered monsters by above-ground heroes, are the average hard-working citizens down here. Follow their journey into this otherworldly place and enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Under #17

Welcome back dear readers! If you haven't followed my short story series Under then follow the links below to catch up. Those who are old school fans of Dragon Magazine like me will appreciate this next panel. It's a full-page homage to the comic that influenced me the most to do D&D comics. Yes, I am talking about Wormy by the late great Dave Trampier. The issue in question is Dragon #96 from April 1985, where Trampier shows us an "Underdark" town. Wormy and this issue in particular has captivated me for the last 40 years. Now I can rest easy that I have paid my respects to another D&D hero of the past. You are now at the halfway point of the story. There is much more to come as I ramp up the release of Under. Enjoy.

Greyhawkery Comics: Saga of Valkaun Dain #17

Welcome back Greyhawkers. It's time for another tale from the Saga of Valkaun Dain. Checkout his previous exploits on the links below. This will be the last Valkaun for a while however. I will be devoting more time to finishing my story Under and of course Cultists. 

Valkaun is known for many heroic things, including his knack for warfare. When he wasn't calling a barbarian horde, he was usually talking matters into his own hands.  Iuz especially hated Valkaun for singlehandedly ending battles. Gotta love D&D...enjoy!

Greyhawkery Comics: Cultists #17

Welcome Grey-fanatics! The Cultists of Tharizdun are back and as usual they are trying to expand their evil power to better achieve their nihilistic goals. To that end I love that aberrations and formless elder gods are in the same Venn diagram. The featured monsters in this comic are indeed sentient, but they need no explanation for the evils they inflict on characters in D&D. Let's see how things are going for the guys...enjoy!
