Welcome again faithful followers of the Flanaess! The Cultists are back but it's a slow rest period between Oerth-destroying plots. Yes, even our favorite nihilistic duo likes to discuss Greyhawk lore time to time. Note, those who are familiar with the Gygax novel Come Endless Darkness will be pleased (I'm not a fan). Remind me, where did the 3rd panel picture come from? I can remember seeing it but don't remember the Tharizdun connection...
Ben: Like I mentioned in the blurb, it's the cover to Come Endless Darkness. One of Gygax's post-TSR Gord the Rogue novels. Tharizdun in the flesh is the BBEG of the novel. I do not recommend this for reading if you run Greyhawk however, it'll do you little good. The cultists though? They are a lost cause ;)
OMG, no wonder I recognized it; I own all those Gord books! Yes, overall they're not great for GH purity but somewhat fun in places.
